Preliminary statistics released by Kentucky State Police today indicate that six people died in six separate crashes on Kentucky’s roadways from Monday, February 4th through Sunday.

State Police say there were no vehicle fatalities reported in Christian, Todd, Trigg, Muhlenberg and Logan Counties during this time frame, but single-fatality, motor vehicle crashes took place in Clark, Floyd, Madison, Pike and Rockcastle Counties.

Through Sunday, preliminary statistics indicate that 52 people have lost their lives on Kentucky roadways since January, which is 23 less than what was reported for this time period last year.
