Elkton company to be featured on national TV program

An Elkton business will be featured on a national TV program in the future thanks in part to a contribution from the town’s city council.

Elkton City Council approved a $2,000 contribution to produce a video featuring Refine Tile for the program “Made in America,” which is hosted by Larry King. Last year’s version of the program aired on the Discovery Channel in the fall.

South Western Kentucky Economic Development Council Director Mitch Robinson says the program will not only feature the factory that produces tile products, it will also spotlight the Todd County town.

Robinson says the contributions from the city and other agencies make the video production possible.

Mayor Nancy Camp said extensive research was done to be sure the production and show was legit before council agreed to make the contribution. Details on exactly when the program will air are to be released at a later date.
