Five vehicle wreck injures two people

A five-vehicle wreck on East 9th Street in front of the Pennyroyal Area Museum yesterday sent two people to the hospital.

The crash report from Hopkinsville Public Safety Officer Chris Bond says 53-year old Tyrone Dossett of Hopkinsville failed to stop with traffic and rear-ended a vehicle driven by 20-year old Tadeisha Curry of Hopkinsville just after 3pm.

That pushed Ms. Curry’s vehicle into the rear of 29-year old Heather Butler’s vehicle, pushing it into the rear of 56-year old Roger Puckett’s vehicle—causing him to run into the back of 55-year old John Campbell’s vehicle.

Campbell, a Hopkinsville resident, was taken by private vehicle to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of neck pain. Puckett, who resides in Cadiz, went by ambulance to the hospital for a possible neck injury.
