Alcohol suspected as factor in Clarksville wreck that sends woman to Vandy

A Clarksville woman fractured her spine in a wreck allegedly involving alcohol early Sunday morning.

The incident happened around 12:40am at the intersection of Hazelwood and Trenton Road, according to the Clarksville Police report, which says 27-year old Kenton Taulbee of Clarksville went through the intersection and into a guide wire before going airborne and coming to rest near the Northeast High School baseball fields.

Police found 27-year old Stephanie Bradley of Clarksville ejected from the pickup on the ground. She was immediately taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for a fractured spine and a fractured nasal cavity.

Taulbee was not seriously injured and was arrested at Gateway Medical Center after being medically cleared on DUI charges.
