Jeans for Teens donation deadline extended
The deadline for the “Jeans for Teens” charitable campaign has been extended and Christian County High School continues to ask for the public’s help.

Students at Christian County High have a goal of 5,000 pairs of jeans that will be part of a national effort to provide them to homeless shelters across the United States. There are approximately 1.7 million people under the age of 18 classified as homeless in the country and the donated jeans will go to those young people.

A news release says all sizes and styles of jeans will be accepted, but they should not have holes or rips unless they were bought that way. Donations can be dropped off at the Christian County High School Youth Services Center. The new deadline to drop off the jeans is February 22nd.
