Statewide smoking ban passes committee

A statewide smoking ban inside public buildings is back on the legislative docket.
It was approved in committee Thursday. It's the second year in a row such a ban has been sent to the full House. It never saw a vote the first timearound.
Backers believe they have enough votes in the House, but could see a battle in the Senate.
