Today marks the 202nd Anniversary of the 1811-12 New Madrid Earthquakes, which remains to be most the powerful earthquakes to hit the eastern part of the U.S. in recorded history.
To raise awareness of disaster preparedness, millions of citizens across the nation participated in this morning’s Great Central U.S. Shake Out drill.
