DeeAnna Yates resigns from local chamber of commerce

Officials with the Christian County Chamber of Commerce say they are sad to announce the resignation of the chamber’s President of Membership and Public Relations.

DeeAnna Yates offered her letter of resignation to Chamber President, Carter Hendricks to accept a position with Jennie Stuart Medical Center as their Marketing Relationship Manager.

Ms. Yates was quoted as saying that she appreciated the many relationships that she’s made and the critical work of supporting local businesses and chamber members.

Hendricks commented she has been a tremendous asset and will be hard to replace.

Ms. Yates’ last day at the chamber will be March 1st.

Stephanie McQueen will take over the chamber’s Diplomat program and the overall supervision of membership and marketing efforts.
