Mayor to present man keys to new home Thursday

Hopkinsville Mayor Dan Kemp this week will be presenting keys to a new home to a local resident whose house was beyond repair.

Mayor Kemp will present the keys to Robert Coleman.

The house is located at 826 Younglove Street and Coleman is a participant in the Hopkinsville Home Improvement Program.

Coleman’s previous home was demolished and a new home was built on the same site through a partnership between the Christian County Hopkinsville Development Corporation and the City of Hopkinsville.

The key presentation ceremony is scheduled to take place Thursday at 3 p.m.
