Kentucky State Police today responded to a single-vehicle wreck with injury this morning that occurred on KY 112.
State Police say the wreck happened around 9:06 a.m. and that preliminary investigation revealed that 33-year old Shannon Copeland-Ramage of Dawson Springs, was operating a 2005 Ford F-150 pickup truck northbound on KY 112 and was she was traveling northbound, when she lost control of the vehicle.
Police say the truck exited the northbound shoulder of the roadway and traveled down an earth embankment striking several, metal fence posts.
Police also say the truck became airborne and overturned coming to rest upright just off the northbound lane of travel.
Ms. Copeland-Ramage was transported by ambulance to Baptist Health Madisonville for treatment.
The St. Charles Volunteer Fire Department and Medical Center Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
