Clarksville Police out in full force this weekend

Clarksville Police will be out in full force this weekend to apprehend impaired drivers and cite traffic violators.

The city-wide impaired driving saturation patrols are scheduled to take place Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. through 4 a.m.

Police say the intention of the saturation patrols is to detect and apprehend impaired drivers through increased traffic enforcement.

The patrols are partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.
