Officials from a non-profit organization based out of Chicago, Illinois gave back to Fort Campbell spouses in a very big way this morning at the local post. Operation Homelink Founder, Dan Shannon explained why he felt it was important to give back the military families. Brandy Dewitt, the wife of Specialist Thomas Dewitt who is deployed in Afghanistan says words could not describe how thankful she is to receive the lap top and webcam in order to stay connected with her husband. The donation of these computers was made possible by Fluor, Inc. of Irving, Texas. Operation Homelink is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501 C-3 organization founded in Fall 2002 and has distributed 7,100 refurbished computers to military families across the nation. ** (01/26/2013/MF)
