Paintings by cancer patients on display at JSMC

A traveling display of art created by cancer patients is being featured at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

A news release from the hospital says the exhibit is called “Lilly Oncology on Canvas” and is on display at the E.C. Green Cancer Center through February 19th Monday through Thursday from 7:30am until 4:30pm and on Fridays from 7:30am to 1:30pm.

The exhibit features five paintings by patients with various forms of cancer. JSMC RN Director Sheila Sadler says the exhibit honors the journeys people face when confronted by a cancer diagnosis.
