The man seriously injured in a wreck Saturday afternoon on Walnut Street has been released from the hospital. Officials at Vanderbilt University Medical Center say 36-year old Marvin Gray, Jr. of Hopkinsville was released Tuesday—three days after he was air-lifted there. Hopkinsville Police say Gray was driving his vehicle on Walnut near the East 14th Street intersection around 4:30pm Saturday when he ran into the back of a parked AT&T utility truck. The police report said warning cones were in the roadway behind the truck and witnesses said Gray never slowed down. No one was in the AT&T truck and Gray was the only person injured. ** 01/24/2013/am |
