Home belonging to Christian County Sheriff's Deputy destroyed by fire

A fire early this morning destroyed the home of a Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy.

The home near the 1300 block of Fruit Hill Red Bridge Road was already fully involved when fire-fighters with the Lacy Volunteer Fire Department arrived around 5:15.

The cause of the blaze wasn’t immediately known and Christian County Sheriff’s Captain Chris Miller says residence belonged to Deputy James Dragoo. No one was injured in the incident.
