Area high school students wanting to go to college after graduation are being encouraged to register for two ACT prep workshops offered by Murray State University.
MSU officials say the workshops will be offered in two locations, Murray or in Paducah and that the workshops will take place Saturday, February 2nd from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The cost of the workshop is $55 and includes a 350+ page book.
Special programs coordinator in the MSU Center for Continuing Education and Academic Outreach, Janeen Winters stated this is a great opportunity for first time test takers or those wishing to improve their score.
Officials say the workshops are being offered in Murray at MSU’s main campus, or at the Murray State University Paducah Regional Campus with the Murray location to have an in-depth English/reading review, while the Paducah location will have an in-depth math review.
Officials say space is limited and pre-registration is required.
