It’s still far too early to predict any details, but there’s a possibility of some wintry weather in western Kentucky Thursday night and Friday morning.

The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement saying it’s looking increasingly likely there will be some accumulations, but that the exact track of the storm system will decide exactly how much and where.

As always, there’s a possibility warmer temperatures could keep the southern Pennyrile in a mostly rain event, but there’s also a chance the mercury will dip down below freezing before the precipitation begins.
