CCSO makes meth arrests

Two area men were arrested on methamphetamine charges Friday after a traffic stop on North Drive.

Deputy Brandon Hawkins pulled over 39-year old Benjamin Duvall of Bremen around 9:15pm on North Drive, according to the citation, which says he had been swerving on the road.

A K-9 unit detected on the vehicle and police say they found 11.8 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 15 prescription pills in the car. Police also allege they found scales and other drug paraphernalia.

Duvall and his passenger, 25-year old Marcus Conrad of Madisonville, were charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in prescription pills and other drug offenses.
