Significant damage was done to a Cayce Avenue home early Monday afternoon when it caught fire.

The fire orginiated in the laundry room and spread into the kitchen and into a bedroom and investigators believe a wall heater may have ignited some clothes in a basket to start the blaze.
An estimated 30-thousand dollars worth of damage was done to the residence of Jessica Hart and 20-thousand dollars worth of damage was done to contents.
No one was injured and crews remained on the scene for about two hours.
