Local woman treated and released following Parkway wreck

A local woman was treated and released from the hospital after wrecking on the Pennyrile Parkway Sunday afternoon.

Kentucky State Trooper Mike Manzanares says 38-year old Tonya Logan of Hopkinsville was southbound near the 10 mile-marker just after 2pm when she swerved in an attempt to miss a deer.

Ms. Logan’s vehicle ran off the road before finally coming to rest on the grass. Trooper Manzanares says Ms. Logan, who was wearing her seat belt, was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center where she was checked out and released.
