A Lyon County man was arrested yesterday for allegedly cutting his brother with a knife during an altercation.

Kentucky State Police say 26-year old Jacob Lawrence of Eddyville entered his brother’s Cedar Street home in that city yesterday and the two got into an argument that soon became physical.

Lawrence allegedly pulled a knife from his pocket and cut his brother, Greg Wilson, during the struggle. Lawrence was struck in the head with a shotgun and he then fled from the residence.

Police found Lawrence a short time later seeking medical attention at Caldwell County Hospital in Princeton. He was arrested and charged with second degree assault and was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.

Wilson was treated at his home by Lyon County EMS.
