Christian County Board of Education approves graduation requirement changes

The Christian County Board of Education tonight approved a contract to allow Hoptown Hoppers to hold their games this year at Hopkinsville High School and school board members also approved the first reading of several changes in the school district’s graduation requirements.

Board Chairman Barry Cornelius gave more details about the contract with the Hoptown Hoppers.



Chairman Cornelius also spoke about the two changes that were made concerning the school district’s graduation requirements, specifically a student’s individual learning plan.



Tonight’s school board meeting began with Hopkinsville Mayor Dan Kemp reading off a proclamation in honor of national School Board Association month.
