The Medical Examiner’s Office has released its final report on the woman found dead next to railroad tracks in Hopkins County late last year.
As previously reported, 36-year old Lisa Sullivan was found unresponsive by a CSX train crew on December 6th near Ed Brackett Lane in Mortons Gap.
A news release from the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office says the death investigation by the Medical Examiner’s Office determined Ms. Sullivan died from blunt forced trauma from being struck by a train.
Police learned she had been struck by three different trains, as she was lying parallel between the rails and was difficult to see due to her wearing camouflage clothing.
The Sheriff’s Office does not suspect foul play in her death.
