Man injured in Tuesday hit and run wreck on Campbell St.

A hit and run at 9th and Campbell Streets Tuesday evening injured a local man.

The incident happened around 5:20pm, according to the report that says the roads were wet at that time.

Police say 42-year old Paul Rogers, Jr. of Hopkinsville was southbound on South Campbell when the driver of a black passenger car disregarded a stop sign and struck his vehicle in the driver’s side.

A passenger, 18-year old Demorein Johnson of Hopkinsville, was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for neck pain. Rogers went uninjured.
