Marshall County Sheriff's Deputies arrest two people for drug offenses

Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputies this week arrested two people for drug related offenses in two separate incidents on Monday.

In the first incident, Deputy Steven Oakley obtained a search warrant at a Hilldale Lane apartment in Hardin County.

Deputy Oakley reported that the subject, identified as 34-year old Jamie C. Rosson of Hardin County, pulled into the parking lot of her apartment complex and tried to leave when she spotted deputies.

Deputy Oakley stated he was able to stop Rosson in her vehicle and was able to execute a search warrant at her apartment, where glass pipes that field tested positive for Methamphetamine were taken into evidence.

Rosson was charged with 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

In the second incident, Deputy Nathan Maxlow was dispatched to help Detective Don Tidwell on a routine traffic stop on south Main Street in Calvert City.

Upon arrival, Deputy Maxlow noticed the subject to show symptoms of being under the influence.

23-year old Rachel L. Twiggs of Ledbetter, was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence, Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance and Failure to Produce Insurance Card.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office reports that both individuals were taken into custody without incident.
