MSU to hold Soybean promotion event

Officials with Murray State University are announcing details of the Ninth Annual Soybean Promotion Day later this month.

A news release from the college that operates a regional campus in Hopkinsville says this year’s event is January 22nd in the Murray Room of the CFSB Center. Admission is free, but reservations are required.

Ag Economist Moe Russell and farming expert Missy Bauer will be the featured speakers and will discuss the latest trends and information regarding soybean farming in the area.

The event is sponsored by the Hutson School of Agriculture and Kentucky Soybean Board. Those interested in attending should RSVP by calling 270-809-3556.
