Tipster helps police arrest wanted fugitive
An anonymous tip from the public helped Hopkinsville Police find and arrest a Crime Stoppers Fugitive of the week yesterday.
Officer Roger Stephens followed up on a Crime Stoppers tip and arrested 35-year old Arunya Williams of Pembroke at 303 Lewis Street in Hopkinsville just before 6pm.
Ms. Williams had been wanted on probation violation charges. She had been placed on probation following a 2008 conviction on assault, child abuse and drug charges.
Crime Stoppers Coordinator Officer Paul Ray says the tipster will receive a cash reward.
