The Hopkinsville Police Department served multiple warrants and summonses on Monday and released information about the effort.

Sergeant Kyle Spurlin’s Patrol Shift conducted a day long intensive warrants detail, where they focused their efforts on serving as many warrants and summonses as possible.

Police say these officers were able to serve a total of 22 warrants and summonses, which resulted in the arrests of 10 people.

Police say there is a distinct correlation between the people wanted on warrants for crimes and committing new crimes before they are located by police.

The individuals police either served a warrant or summonses are the following: 18-year old Michaela Ware, who is charged with four counts of theft by deception under $500, 22-year old Stephan Deshon Lovan for non-payment of fines, contempt of court, 4^th degree assault, 26-year old Edward James Nettles for failure to pay, 39-year old Deandre Corey Quarles for contempt of court, 45-year old James Walsh for theft by deception, 32-year old Douane Kevin Brown for contempt of court and probation violation, 32-year old Meghan Hennington for dogs and cats running at large, 40-year old Rochelle Colleen Baldwin for contempt of court, 44-year old Sylvia Denise Handy for contempt of court and 35-year old Porshia Diane Adkins for contempt of court.
