A Clarksville industry has announced a major expansion that will create 94 new jobs.

Ackebono Brake Corporation announced it will move forward with an 82 million dollar expansion project at its 780 International Boulevard location.

Clarksville-Montgomery County Economic Development Council President James Chavez says the announcement makes a major statement about the exceptional workforce and the community’s ability to do business with, and support the growth of existing industries.

The corporation, which manufactures a wide range of vehicle brake products, proects a third of the 94 new jobs will be filled this spring and the remaining number by the middle of next year.
