Officials with Columbia Helicopters, Incorporated of Oregon confirmed that 7 company employees, including a Clarksville man, were killed on Monday in a helicopter crash in Peru.
Officials say the employees included five American citizens and two Peruvian citizens.
Jaime Pickett of Clarksville, who was employed as a helicopter mechanic, was identified as one of the 7 individuals killed in the crash. President of Columbia Helicopters, Michael Fahey stated he was deeply saddened by the deaths and that a thorough investigation into the crash is now underway.
