Officials with Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area will be waiving fees at participating facilities in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Officials say general admission to the Elk and Bison Prairie will be free and Wranglers Campground will also be waiving riding fees on Monday, January 21st.
LBL Customer Service Manager Brian Beisel states visitors are welcome to come out and enjoy numerous free outdoor recreation opportunities and to bring family and friends to enjoy hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, picnicking, and scenic driving in the great outdoors.
The USDA Forest Service is participating in the fee waiver day along with the National Park Service, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Bureau of Land Management.
