A Wisconsin man was arrested in Hopkinsville yesterday and charged with stealing his father’s vehicle and driving a juvenile runaway to Kentucky.

Charged with receiving stolen property and unlawful transaction with a minor is 21-year old Dylan Dimler of Hammond, Wisconsin. The arrest card says a stolen 2002 Dodge Caravan was located at the Best Western on Fort Campbell Boulevard and that Dimler and a female juvenile had come to the hotel in the vehicle.

Dimler’s father, Duane Dimler, told police that his son took the keys and fled his home in the van before picking up the teen and leaving the state. Dimler was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
