HPD investigates apartment burglary

HPD investigated a burglary at Campbell Place Apartments early Friday morning.

The report from Officer Joseph Garcia says 24-year old Gareth Edwards of Hopkinsville said he had been gone on vacation since December 17th and returned home late Thursday night to find several items missing.          

Among the items taken from the apartment at 900 Denzill Drive were a pistol, a laptop computer, military gear, a video game system, a cordless drill and a flat screen television. Total value of the stolen property was listed at just over 26-hundred dollars.
