Man injured, charged with DUI after Muhlenberg wreck

A wreck involving the suspected use of alcohol in Muhlenberg County yesterday injured a Drakesboro man.

A news release from Kentucky State Police says 46-year old Steven Wells of Drakesboro was northbound on KY 431 around 1pm when he ran off the road.

His vehicle struck a fence and came to final rest off the shoulder of the road. He was taken by ambulance to Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment of his injuries and was cited into court on his second DUI charge in the last five years, according to KSP.
