Hopkinsville Police are investigating the death of a 20-year old woman on Howell Street as a murder.
The report from Officer Edward Eastman says the incident happened sometime between 3:30 and 5:30 at 725 Howell, where 20-year old Alicia Jackson of Hopkinsville was found dead by a female inside the home.
Chief Guy Howie told WHOP News on the scene that the woman had trauma on her body and that police were in the early stages of the investigation.
Hopkinsville Police Public Information Officer Paul Ray says police currently have no suspects and the investigations continues. At least one person had been questioned in connection with the incident earlier in the evening, but no arrests were made.
