Hopkinsville Police continue to investigate the shooting incident at 11^th and Liberty Street early this morning that sent a man to the hospital.

Public Information Officer Paul Ray gave some more details into the incident that sent 26-year old Travis Thomas to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with a leg wound.

Officer Ray says Thomas couldn’t see who shot him and HPD currently has no suspects in the case.

Anyone with information on the case or who may have seen anything suspicious can report it anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Tips Line at 887-TIPS.

Officer Joseph Garcia said early in the morning that the injuries to Thomas did not appear to be life-threatening.
