| Update on Trigg Co. wreck victim |

The victim from yesterday morning’s wreck on U.S. 68-80 in Trigg County continues to recover from her injuries. Officials at Vanderbilt University Medical Center say 61-year old Nona Bennett of Cadiz is in stable condition. Ms. Bennett was eastbound about two and a half miles west of Cadiz Thursday morning around 8:40 when she swerved to miss an animal and ran off the road and into a tree. She had to be cut from the wreckage and was flown from the scene to Vanderbilt. ** |
