No one was injured, but a car received damage when someone apparently fired a bullet into the air over the New Years holiday in Clarksville.
Clarksville Police believe someone may have fired a shot during a holiday celebration near 1065 Glenhurst Way, where 40-year old Tammy Nolan’s vehicle was found with a shattered windshield.
An officer found a bullet about eight feet from the vehicle and writes the damage was consistent with a gunshot. Approximately 400 dollars worth of damage was done to the vehicle and the case is being investigated as vandalism.
Public Information Officer Jim Knoll says the case is a reminder that a bullet has to come down somewhere when fired into the air.
