Truck stolen, fence damaged at local business

Hopkinsville Police are investigating after someone damaged a fence and stole a truck from a local business over the New Years holiday.

The report says someone damaged a chain link fence with a rolling gate at Agri-Chem on 15^th Street between Monday at noon and Wednesday morning at 5:30. The suspect or suspects did five thousand dollars worth of damage to the fence to steal a six thousand dollar 1983 Chevy flatbed pickup.

The truck is white in color and had “Agrichem” written on the side along with vehicle number 318. The perpetrator did more damage by driving the stolen truck through the fence to leave.

No suspects are listed on the report and the investigation continues.
