Herb Hays Furniture receives national award

A local furniture store has received a national honor for its commitment to excellence.

Ashley Furniture’s Mid-South marketing team presented Herb Hays Furniture with its Eagle Award. The award is the highest honor given by the company and the local store was selected based on a set of strict criteria.

A news release says the qualifications include a commitment to the community, a positive attitude, a friendly and professional staff and a commitment to staying up to date and knowledgeable.

Peg Hays received the award on behalf of the store and thanked the staff, customers and Ashley Furniture for making the honor possible. She says they will display the plaque in the office to commemorate the 30-year relationship between Herb Hays Furniture and Ashley Furniture.
