Central Avenue wreck injures one

A rear-end collision on Central Avenue Monday night sent a Florida man to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

The report from Hopkinsville Police Officer Daniel Gray says 30-year old Christopher Leroy of Hopkinsville was westbound on Central just before 11pm when he rear-ended a vehicle driven by 35-year old Mario Sharp of Hopkinsville stopped at the Walnut Street intersection.

Sharp’s passenger, 37-year old Jarvis Brown of Tampa, Florida; was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
