Hopkinsville's first baby of 2013 in intensive care

Hopkinsville’s first baby of 2013 is in intensive care at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

JSMC Marketing and Community Relations Director Jim Goss says baby Emma was born to Pamela Reeves of Hopkinsville around 12:50pm Tuesday. Emma was 7 pounds, 2 ounces and 18 and three quarter inches long.

Dr. John Stitt delivered Emma and while mother is doing well, Goss says Emma remains in the neonatal intensive care unit.
