The Cadiz Police Department is operating with an interim chief.
A news release says Major Duncan Wiggins will serve in that capacity until a Cadiz City Council appoints a new chief. Major Wiggins replaces former Chief Hollis Alexander, who will be sworn in Wednesday morning at 8am as the next Trigg County Judge-Executive.
Alexander was appointed to that position when former Judge Stan Humphries was elected to the First District State Senate Seat. This morning’s swear-in ceremony will be in Trigg Circuit Court.
