| Cadiz Police respond to wreck with injuries |

Cadiz Police investigated a two-vehicle crash Saturday at the intersection of U.S. 68 and Broadbent Boulevard. 63-year old David Hobbs of Hoover, Alabama was eastbound on US 68 approaching the intersection when 79-year old Harold Rose of Hopkinsville was westbound and made a left turn into the path of Hobbs and was struck in the passenger side. Police say both drivers had a green light at the intersection however, there is no dedicated green turn signal, only a green yield light. Hobbs and a passenger in another vehicle were both transported to Trigg County Hospital for treatment of injuries and later released. ** |
