Kentucky State Police say they are out in full force this weekend looking to arrest anyone driving impaired.

A news release from KSP says the enforcement period runs through Tuesday night. There were 1,314 crashes on Kentucky roadways last New Years weekend, resulting in six deaths. Police say 63 of those wrecks were alcohol-related.

The public can help KSP’s effort by reporting erratic, impaired or speeding drivers by calling 1-800-222-5555. Callers can remain anonymous and should give a description of the vehicle, your location and a license plate number if possible.
