A 61-year old Clarksville woman caught two people trying to steal her dogs and property Thursday morning and was able to stop the crime.
The Clarksville Police report says 61-year old Lori Kunesh of Autumn Drive was just getting out of the shower when she heard her dogs barking in an unusual way. She looked out the window to find two suspects wearing hoodies in her back yard.
They each had one of her expensive dogs under their arm and were attempting to leave with a gas grill and wheel barrow. Ms. Kunesh went outside and yelled at them, causing them to drop the grill and wheel barrow.
She followed them into a field behind her house until they dropped the dogs. One of the dogs had an injured tail and was going to be treated at a local vet office. Ms. Kunesh couldn’t tell the gender or race of the suspects, but believed them to be teenagers.
