| Todd Fiscal Court passes Sheriff's budget |
|
Todd Fiscal Court passed final reading of the Sheriff’s Department budget this morning during its final meeting of the calendar year. Magistrates approved the 311-thousand dollars budget unanimously and Treasurer Tammy Robertson says it’s not much different than last year with only a few exceptions.
Ms. Robertson says the fee-pooling system the county went to two years ago has worked well and that Sheriff Joey Johnson has done a good job with his office finances.
Court also approved the County Clerk’s budget and approved the Emergency Operations Plan as submitted by Emergency Management Director Tim Pulley. Dispatch Director Donna Ruby says work continues to use grant money to install a new radio tower to better serve first responders in the south end of the county. ** 12/28/2012/am |
