The Pennyrile Area Narcotics Task Force assisted the Murray Police Department in a methamphetamine lab investigation this week that resulted in two arrests.
A news release from Murray Police says officers were called to an unoccupied home owned by Murray Calloway County Hospital on Christmas Eve and found 27-year old Thomas Broshears and 30-year old Sheena Goodwin of Murray both allegedly inside a closet with the ingredients to make the illegal drug.
Also inside the home was an active meth lab. The two suspects were arrested and Broshears was charged with burglary and parole violation. Goodwin was charged with burglary and manufacturing methamphetamine.
The Narcotics Task Force safely removed the lab and the pair is lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
