Hopkinsville woman taken to hospital after Sunday wreck

A Hopkinsville woman was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle wreck at 9th and Bethel Streets yesterday afternoon.

The Hopkinsville Police report says the incident happened around 2pm when 60-year old Barbara Childress of Hopkinsville ran a red light on Bethel and drove into the intersection, hitting a vehicle driven by 26-year old Racheal Jackson of Hopkinsville.

Ms. Jackson was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center to be checked out, while her passenger and Ms. Childress went uninjured.
