Funeral services set for Jim Love

Funeral arrangements are now complete for longtime WHOP News Director Jim Love, who passed away early Sunday morning after a long battle with cancer.

Funeral Services for Love will be 10:30 Wednesday morning at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West and visitation will be Tuesday afternoon from 4 until 7 at the funeral home.

Those scheduled to speak at the Wednesday morning service include WHOP General Manager Mike Chadwell, Love’s former Early Bird co-host Ann Petrie, Christian County Attorney Mike Foster, Reverend Ron Hicks and Dale Mitchell.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, United Way or to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St., Nashville, TN 37203.
